Progression 4/10/2010

Well I think Im going to give this blog thing another shot considering how I basically abandoned it for a while.

Other
So far life has been peachy... Have a few worries but for the most part I'll work through them. Well for one Ive decided what I want to do with my future. I want to go to school for film. HAHA! Finally convinced myself to just go and follow my dream. I recently start using my Youtube channel a few months ago and realized I have a very raw talent and enjoy capturing moments on film. Also seeing as entertainment will be my field started researching colleges for stunt-men. figured I really should start working in the media. I'm finally going to open myself to the media in anyway via: photoshoot, commercials, etc.

Training
Training has been amazing. I am always progressing. At this point in Parkour learning to just enjoy training and not setting up goals that I'll prob never accomplish. I just slip on the trainers and head outside to go train with friends. Training has become the new "hangout" for me, I enjoy it more then just going to the mall, or seeing a movie. Made a lot of new friends in the last few months and gain a bunch of new people I can train with. Amazing. I think if you look at my videos you can see where I'm at progression wise: http://youtube.com/2unique4pk

My talk with Ronnie:
Ronnie is one of my best friends he start training with me maybe 6months ago and I must say I am very impressed where he is at right now. Hes view on Parkour/Freerunning are very pure minded and mature for his current experience level. By this I mean many people just start just want to go straight to the big jumps and flips, but Ron ball ( the nickname I gave him ) thinks otherwise. "He walks before he runs." He learned that If you don't find a deeper meaning for Parkour other than looks you wont get anywhere in this sport. Without any feeling in what you do you can never really train or learn to but some else before yourself. That being said if he stays focus I could easily see him being really good. He has a lot of potential.

I remember talking to him about training and he asked why do I do Parkour. I immediately responded what I was looking for in Parkour was Love... I wanted someone to love me for who really was. You may ask: "How does Parkour find you love?" And thinking back I didnt know either but all I knew was Parkour was about passing obstales... And me wanting love and friendship was a obstacle. So I stuck with it =)

K well I think thats all for this post... Till next week. Peace & Love =)
